• The Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan represented by Government of Baluchistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Baluchistan Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Project (BLEP), Planning and Development Department, Government of Baluchistan, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Olive Oil Extraction Machine with Accessories.

• The Project Director, BLEP now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Olive Oil Extraction Machine with Accessories as detailed below:

• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers for Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018” and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Head of Project, (PMIU-BLEP) and inspect the Bidding Document during office hours [9:00 AM to 5:00 PM] at the address given below.

• The Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to Head of Project, Baluchistan Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Project (BLEP) and deposit receipt of PKR 500/- as nonrefundable tender fee in the account # C03870 in the name of Head of Project, Baluchistan Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Project (BLEP).

• Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before at 11:00 AM on March 13th, 2023.

• Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids after 11:00 AM on March 13th, 2023 shall not be accepted.

• Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 11:00 AM on March 13th, 2023.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (PKR 1,200,000.00) as mentioned above in the form of bank guarantee / pay order / banker’s cheque / call deposit or demand draft in the name of Head of Project, Baluchistan Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Project (BLEP).

• Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11: 00 AM on March 1st, 2023 in the Office of PMU-BLEP, address as mentioned below.
