Consultancy services for flood zone mapping.

Description: The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has overall responsibility for government administration assignments for the prevention of flood damage and avalanche accidents. This involves assisting municipalities with competence and resources for mapping, area planning, securing, monitoring, warning and stand-by. A central part of this work is flood zone mapping. NVE assists municipalities in mapping flood hazards. This framework agreement will be a part of this work. The objective of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement for flood zone mapping in accordance with our requirement specifications (annex 4). The framework agreement also includes independent quality assurance assignments for flood zone mappings. The scope of the contract is uncertain, but the estimated value is NOK 20 -25 million excluding VAT, with an upper limit of NOK 40 million excluding VAT over four years. The contract does not involve any obligation to reach the estimate, but the contract is bound by the stipulated upper limit.
