Description: Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of tissue processor for Rikshospitalet, Department of Pathology, Unit for histology. The department has a high daily volume with approx. 500 standard tissue cassettes and 1-30 super mega cassettes to be prepared for further analysis and diagnostics. Furthermore, the system shall include two identical instruments that are run equal and parallel. The reason is that the department needs robustness and redundancy as the patient material provided on these instruments is often irreplaceable material. The instrument must be able to perform tissue samples during nights and over weekends. The department needs to use fast protocols as well as protocols, particularly suitable for fatty tissue samples.
