        The contest is for a framework agreement for assistance from architects ("ARK") for the contracting authority"s projects.

        The framework agreement must cover engineering design service and consultancy service assignments.

        The aim of the framework agreement is to ensure that the contracting authority has access throughout the entire contract period to assistance from skilled architects with relevant competence, to cover the contracting authority"s ongoing need for ARK services.

        A framework agreement will be signed with up to 5 tenderers of ARK.

        Each tenderer must present documentation in the contest for 3 architects, cf. point 5.2.2 below.

        The architects will assist the contracting authority with planning, architectural design services, implementation, follow-up of and/or reports of different types of building and construction projects. This can, for example, be new building projects, renovation projects, alterations, and/or other processes that can

        occur as a result of new or changed needs at the contracting authority.

        The contracting authority"s projects vary in nature, size, cost, duration and degree of difficulty, and require resources and a team with overall competence. These can, for example, be experience from public contracting authorities and public buildings, new buildings, total renovations,

        minor renovations, historical and/or listed buildings, architectural design assignments with buildings in operation, as well as SHA work.

        Major alteration projects and new buildings where ARK services are, as a main rule, part of a separate contract are not included in this framework agreement. Examples of this are turnkey and partnering contracts. Consultancy in projects for historical buildings and other projects where the contracting authority requires special competence can also

        be exempted from the framework agreement.

        This framework agreement will be one of several framework agreements that the contracting authority intends to enter into to cover the contracting authority"s ongoing need for consultancy architect services.
