         Oslo kommune c/o Oslobygg KF [Oslo Municipality, c/o the Municipal Undertaking for Social Housing], hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to participate in an open tender contest for a contract for detailed engineering design and the construction of Bjørvika School.

         Oslobygg KF shall construct a new primary and lower secondary school with a multipurpose hall. The school shall be built on lot D2 (in Bjørvikaplanen) with cadastral number and title number 234/111 and others. Bjørvika school is a new building with a gross area (Norwegian: BTA) of approx. 15,250 m2 including technical rooms, for 840 students in the first to tenth years, including 60 students in reception classes. Moreover, a "and base" will be established for the Maritime School, dimensioned for 60 students (2 classes simultanously), as well as a multipurpose hall with 3 gymnasiums, a dansing hall and some specially equipped areas. The school areas are divided between 3 floors, as well as a technical basement. The contracting process and initiation of detailed planning are scheduled for late autumn 2023, the construction is expected to start during summer 2024 and handover to the developer in 2027.
