        The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (Norwegian: Forsvarsbygg) invites tenderers to submit tenders for the following assignments: Parallel framework agreement for building contractor services for i Region North, district Hålogaland - Harstad, Evenes, Tjeldsund and Narvik.

        A separate contest will be announced for painting services.

        The framework agreement includes contractor services within building and construction as stated in the main chapters of NS 3420. Limitations are determined by the listed skilled workers and machines in the price sheet (Annex 5). None of the disciplines named in the price form are sub-contractors in mark-up justified meaning.

        The main area (municipalities) for the contract is Harstad, Evenes, Tjeldsund and Narvik municipalities.*

        *Assignments in other locations (municipalities) in the district/region other than those mentioned may be included. Travel costs and lodging are covered by the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency in accordance with government rates for assignments outside the main areas.

        Typical assignments that have previously made up the majority of call-offs are maintenance and renovation of existing buildings:

        - Roofing, faces, replacing windows/doors

        - Interior surfaces and building construction

        - Minor reconstruction of the existing buildings

        - Minor asbestos removal work

        - Scaffolding/lift hire for facade work, etc.

        - Steel work and associated trades

        - Holes/core drilling

        - Concrete work/masonry

        - Fireproofing and insulation

        The services will also include other work that naturally falls under the scope of the contract.
