         Kristiansandsregionen brann og redning IKS (hereinafter referred to as KBR) will procure gas-fired training container(s) mainly aimed at firefighters and others who need to train in fire and smoke-filled environments. The need is thus broad, and the contracting authority wants to receive tenders that provide the best overall package in terms of the structure and composition of the container(s), training scenarios and safety devices. The contracting authority would like tenderers to submit their best offer within the financial framework of the procurement, NOK 4,600,000 million excluding VAT. Consequently, tenderers are not required to submit a price.

         There will be an annual internal need to train a minimum of approx. 120 teams in various hot scenarios. Other personnel who require training should also be able to use the facilities, preferably using a smoke machine. The training container(s) are intended to be placed at one of our fire stations. The location will probably be moved during the expected lifetime of the training container. It is therefore preferable that the training container(s) can be moved without major interventions/changes. The contracting authority also envisages that further development/expansion of the training facilities may be relevant in the future. Tenderers must keep this in mind when formulating their offer.

         Only fuels in the form of gas will be considered.
