Prior information notice: Request for information on digital mouth and jaw scanners for Bergen Hospital Trust

In connection with the planning of a future procurement, the contracting authority would like to obtain information about different solutions for a digital mouth and jaw scanner. Please submit information in the Mercell communication module by 31.10.2017. 

The contracting authority needs information from the market about different types of solutions for a digital mouth and jaw scanner. Potential tenderers are encouraged to submit written information, brochures, presentations and so on through the Mercell communication module by 31.10.2023. Unfortunately, the contracting authority is not able to organise team meetings or physical presentations, so we are only requesting written information. 

The contracting authority would like information on the following points:

- Area of use: In the hospital, the scanner will be used in a multidisciplinary environment with a prosthodontist, pedodontist, orthodontist and plastic surgeon. One example of a patient group is the treatment and follow-up of cleft lip, jaw and palate.

- An overall system sketch/design showing the interconnection of the solution between equipment/applications and physical or cloud systems, including which platform (operating system) the solution runs on

- Other features/functions

- Layout/design - screen, wheels, wireless/wired

- Equipment-dependent consumables (e.g. mouthpieces)

- Whether service courses are offered for medical technical engineers

- Whether the option to enter into a service agreement is offered
