        Kristiansand Havn IKS and Kristiansand Havn KF will jointly procure insurance services.

        Kristiansand Havn IKS is an inter-municipal company that operates harbour activities in the municipalities of Kristiansand and Lindesnes. Kristiansand Harbour KF manages the property, as part of Kristiansand Municipality, and will facilitate harbour operations in the aforementioned operating company. Together, the contracting authorities will procure insurance policies that cover the risk the contracting authorities have as the owners, managers and operators of harbour activities.

        That which will be insured is divided into the following five categories: insurance for properties, machinery and other vehicles, boats and cranes, as well as liability insurance, including business, transport, product liability and builders" liability insurance. What the insurance will cover and a description of the minimum damage that must be covered by the insurance is stated in the requirements specification.

        The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary insurance services required by the contracting authorities, covering the damages that may arise from the relevant operations.

        The tender contest will be carried out as a negotiated procedure.
