         The aim of the procurement is to get a contract in place for a route optimising system that can give the Agency for Waste Management and Recycling (REG) new proposals on how waste collection in Oslo ought to be carried out. The contract will, amongst other things ensure increased productivity, "correct" workload for refuse collectors and vehicles, improvements to REG"s data basis, and a reduction of fuel consumption and wear on vehicles.
