Avfall Sør is preparing a new tender contest for the collection and transport of household waste for Kristiansand and Vennesla Municipalities. We have approx. 55,300 residential units with container collection, approx. 4,600 residential units with a buried system, and approx. 3,700 holiday cabin subscribers. We sort waste into paper, plastic packaging, glass and metal, bio-waste, and residual waste fractions.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

We would like to use this notice to invite interested suppliers to dialogue meetings (one-to-one). We would preferably like to hold the meetings in our premises in Vige in Kristiansand, and we have set aside Thursday 12.10.23 and Friday 13.10.23.

Tenderers that want to meet us are asked to give feedback in the communication module in Mercell, and state which date and time is best. 60-90 minutes will be put aside for each meeting.

We would like input from suppliers on the following, amongst other things:

- Zero emission vehicles (electric, hydrogen, and biogas)

- Relevant minimum requirements for cars and personnel

- How to ensure adequate capacity and back-up for fulfilment of the contract

- Emptying frequency and price model

- Emptying and weight registration and data flow, where the data is delivered to the contracting authority"s ISY ProAktiv system.

- Division into lots?

The new contract will start at the latest on 01.01.2027. The current contract can be renewed until 31.12.2026. The tentative plan for further work is:

- send the tender documentation out for a hearing in approx. March 2024

- announcement of the tender contest in spring 2024

- the tender deadline will be set to 6-8 weeks after the tender contest notice.

Suppliers that would like to be sent the tender documentation in the hearing are asked to give feedback on this in the communication module in Mercell.
