        Klepp municipality, hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the operation of a laundry service reserved for protected organisations and economic operators whose purpose is to assist the social and professional integration of disabled or disadvantaged persons.

        Klepp municipality is a municipality in Rogaland with a population of just over 20,000. More information about the contracting authority can be found at www.klepp.kommune.no.

        The procurement concerns laundry services for Klepp municipality, primarily the Health and Welfare service area. Klepp municipality currently has its own laundry. We will discontinue this and 3 employees (2.3 full-time positions) will be included in the new operation in accordance with the rules for business transfers.

        The contracting authority will collect credit rating via Proff Forvalt Credit Information Company www.forvalt.no. The minimum score acceptable is "satisfactory" within two of the following criteria: liquidity, profitability and solvency, cf. Proff Forvalt"s ranking and/or minimum B on the probability of bankruptcy analysis. Tenderers are expected to have familiarised themselves with recorded information about the company and on submitting the tender consents that this information will be obtained and form the basis of the assessment of the tenderer’s economic situation. Tenderers who have not had accounts in recent years will be rejected unless a pledge is presented for a bank guarantee of such a size that it can be used as security for fulfilment of the contract.
