"Background for the voluntary ex-ante transparency notice/justification for a direct approach to Infiniti Medical AS

The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement with Infiniti Medical AS for the delivery of NEWS II monitors for the Mindray system, and the procurement concerns services that only a specific supplier can deliver, cf. the PPR 13-4 (1), letter b, no. 2. Ahus Trust has entered into an agreement with Infiniti Medical AS for the replacement of patient monitors for continuous monitoring, and the replacement is ongoing. New ICT infrastructure has been established with servers, central monitors and integration with specialised systems. The NEWS II monitors that are procured will utilise the newly established infrastructure. Only the monitors from Mindray can communicate and transfer NEWS II values to the professional system. It is therefore important that everything comes from the same manufacturer in order to utilise the infrastructure.

A framework agreement will be signed for the delivery of up to 300 units. NEWS II monitors for the Mindray system are already installed at Ahus Health Trust. The framework agreement will have a maximum duration of 4 years.

The contract will be signed 14 days after the publication of this notice."

Background for the voluntary ex-ante transparency notice/justification for a direct approach to Infiniti Medical AS

The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement for additional deliveries with the original supplier, cf. the PPR § 13-4 c). Ahus Health Trust currently has monitoring equipment in several departments. The monitors are connected to central computers and a shared server. The monitoring equipment only communicates with equipment from the same manufacturer. It is therefore important that everything comes from the same manufacturer in order to allow continual monitoring of patients and ensure that all data is saved.
