         Project Background

         The project aims to support countries most in need to undertake enabling activities that build their capacity to address plastic pollution, including in the marine environment, through the development and implementation of legal and collaborative frameworks and strategic planning.

         Tasks and deliverables

         The consultant(s) is expected to support the capacity needs assessment for project countries, covering Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Additionally, the consultant(s) is expected to support the development of knowledge and training materials on relevant topics for regional trainings and national online technical sessions among others, provide expert inputs for the preparation of presentation materials and participate in online technical sessions.
