Prior information notice - coming tender contest for the procurement of auditing services.

NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS, including the above-mentioned specified subsidiary companies and sub-subsidiary companies, plans to announce a tender contest for the procurement of services to cover the need for statutory audits in accordance with the Auditor Act §2-1. The tender contest is scheduled to be published in August 2023.

NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS also needs auditing of the group accounts. The auditing services will apply from and including the fiscal year 2023. The contract period will be three (3) years with a planned commencement on 16 November 2023, with an option for a one (1) year extension.

The entities follow normal Norwegian accounting law and liable for VAT and tax. The tender contest is for statutory financial audits in accordance with the Auditor Act § 2-1. The audit must comply with all requirements given in the Norwegian laws, regulations and good audit practise.

The total scope of the tender is estimated to be approx. NOK 15 million - NOK 20 million excluding VAT over a four-year period.

The provision progress plan is that the accounts, consolidated and with notes must be ready at the latest in week 14 2024. This means that most of the work must be completed by week 12 2024 due to Easter.

In addition to the above, there can be a need for:

- Attestation of project accounts for EU resources, Regional Research Fund, Innovasjon Norge, counties, directorates, and others.

- Other assistance connected to statutory audits and preparing tax returns.

- Technical assistance with the preparation of tax returns.

- Technical assistance with the preparation of annual accounts and notes.

- Consultancy pursuant to company law transactions (including, but not limited to due diligence and value assessments).
