        Strand Municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, intends to enter into a contract with up to 7 tenderers for the delivery of winter maintenance.

        The contract includes snow clearing on public roads and parking areas, and areas connected to nursery schools, schools and institutions. The tenderer must have the required equipment to carry out the assignment in accordance with the offered snow clearing areas, as well as maintenance of the equipment.

        The contract will be split into areas, total 7 lots. The areas are available at https://kommunekart.com/klient/strand/entrepen%C3%B8r. Tick off for areas 1-5, 7, and 8. Area 6 is not included in the contract.

        The contracting authority has an overview that shows where excavation work is being carried out. Tenderers must familiarise themselves with ongoing work in order to avoid unfortunate situations and damages. The overview can be found at https://kommunekart.com/klient/strand/graving.

        The contracting authority has decided the priority for snow clearing on municipal roads. The prioritising is split into 3 priorities.

        - Priority 1 must be carried out regardless of the hour. This includes municipal streets that have public transport, in front of gates to the emergency services, emergency doctor, and doctor surgeries, the most important foot and cycle paths, the most important steepest hills, and central zones. Prioritised roads are marked in red on the map at the following link: https://kommunekart.com/klient/strand/entrepen%C3%B8r. Open "Map" and tick off "S1_Prioritised_Roads". 

        - Priority 2 will mainly be carried out during the day Monday to Friday. This includes, amongst other things, the most important feeder roads in residential areas, schools, nurseries, etc. 

        - Priority 3 will be carried out Monday to Friday after priority 2 has been completed. This includes, amongst other things, municipal residential streets.

        The duty officer at the contracting authority will call out all assignments, and will define what priorities are valid.
