RFI - Fleet management system

Molde, Aukra and Rauma municipalities are in need of a fleet management system with real-time information about vehicles with a link to the invoicing system. It must be possible to establish areas and users, with an administration system where the municipality itself can add and subtract areas and users. Interested tenderers can express their interest via the communication module in Mercell and will be invited to a 1.5-hour product demonstration in week 26/27.

The municipalities would like more detailed resource management, particularly of contracted services and what, where and when they are delivered to the municipalities. There is therefore a need to survey the possibilities for a system that can document what, where and when services are delivered to the municipalities. In addition, there is also a need for better coordination internally in the municipalities within the services. There is also a need to have a better overview of where the individual vehicles are at any given time, in order to be able to manage public events. What opportunities exist for obtaining real-time information about ploughing and similar services on the municipality"s website? In addition to winter operations, it is also preferable for the system to be able to handle other services such as kerb cutting, street sweeping, etc.

To exemplify the scope of winter operations in one of the municipalities: Molde municipality has a budget for winter maintenance of NOK 7.5 million, in addition, the municipality has its own employees who also carry out winter maintenance. In total, the municipality has 21 hired areas for winter operations. In addition, the municipality has 9 areas under its own contract at a cost of NOK 2.5 - 3 million.

For all participating municipalities, the budget for winter operations will be approx. NOK 13 million. In total, there will be approx. 50 areas and more than 100 users.
