        Trondheim Municipality needs assistance with street cleaning. Cleaning streets and areas connected to schools, houses, and nurseries at various locations in Trondheim Municipality. The areas are described in more detail in the tender documentation. The tender contest is split into seven lots that consist of the various locations in Trondheim Municipality.

        The contracting authority needs assistance with street cleaning in Klæbu. The work includes cleaning streets, pavements, and areas in accordance with the electronic map.

        Each individual tenderer is to undertake a site inspection themselves in accordance with the electronic map.

        It is up to tenderers to undertake a site inspection in order to familiarise themselves with the work assignment.

        Tenderers must have relevant professional knowledge and use the correct equipment for the assignment.

        An equipment overview and implementation plan is to be added to Annex 1_1 Tender Form.

        The year model and class/classification must be given for vehicles.

        The cleaning must be carried out over a period of maximum 21 weekdays in the period 17.04.23 - 16.05.23.

        As a starting point, there is a sweeping requirement. Mechanical sweeping of sand and dirt with a brush and suction is sufficient.

        Dry sweeping is not permitted.

        Flushing can be used where it is impossible or inappropriate.

        Dust reducing measures must be used when necessary to avoid unnecessary environmental impacts from sweeping.

        The contracting authority must approve sweeping sand and dirt into a ditch where this is possible in advance.

        The need for flushing beyond what has been described will be assessed based on conditions after satisfactory sweeping, and will be ordered during the execution.

        A temporary landfill site will be made available, but the tenderer must see to transport to, and disposal at a certified landfill site. All costs for this must be calculated into the price. The solution must be described by the tenderer!

        A water filling tap will be made available for the tenderer at the operations garage in Klæbu at Sørborgen.

        Areas close to schools and on school premises must be cleaned outside school hours (08:00 - 16:00). A start-up meeting will be held in good time before the assignment will start, so that the tenderer and contracting authority can agree on the implementation.

        It is up to the tenderer to contact the operations personnel at the various locations in order to agree when the cleaning is done, so that the areas are ready.

        There is a need for extra capacity in order assist Trondheim Urban Operations in spring cleaning municipal streets.

        The areas that require assistance are:

        Singsaker, Nardo, Steinan, and Fossegrenda - start-up in week 17 and completion in week 18.

        Hallset, Ugla, and Stavset - start-up in week 19 and completion in week 21.

        Heimdal West - start-up in week 22 and completion in week 22.

        Heimdal East, Tiller, and Sjetnemarka - start-up in week 23 and completion in week 24.

        This is an overview of when we intend to clean the streets in the different areas. When the contracting authority has chosen a tenderer

        a detailed progress plan of the streets to be cleaned will be given. The number of hours estimated in package 3 - residential streets 2023: Annex 1_1 Tender Form - cleaning for Trondheim Urban Operations - 2023 includes sufficient hours to fulfil this assignment based on the stated period.

        Tenderers must have relevant professional knowledge and use the correct equipment for the assignment.

        An equipment overview and implementation plan is to be added to Annex 1_1 Tender Form.

        The year model and class/classification must be given for vehicles.

        Annex 1 - requirements specification - tender contest for cleaning for Trondheim Municipality - states what type of machines must be used, and an estimate of how many machines are required to maintain the set progress.

        As a starting point, there is a sweeping requirement. Mechanical sweeping of sand and dirt with a brush and suction is sufficient.
