         The work is for improving a stretch on county road 7750 - Kongsveien S1D1 approx. m 135 - 790 i.e. (approx. 655 metres long), which is located just outside the centre of Harstad.

          Kongsveien average annual daily traffic/AADT = 5600 and speed limit - 40 km/h.

         The improvement of the road shall mainly include:

         - New superstructure and in some places, road embankment.

         - Width expansion of the road in places.

         - Establishment of new pavement

         - Establishment of surface water management - various measures.

         - Construction of 8 prefabricated concrete retaining walls and 2 cast-in-place retaining walls.

         - Alterations/re-establishment of existing water and sewage installations and other types of in-ground cables.

         - Establishment of street lights on the stretch and various conduits

         - Various measures regarding periodic traffic management during the construction period.

         - Adaptations/re-establishment of existing access roads and exits, etc.

         - Establishment of railings
