Massey University New Zealand is looking to scan the Commercial Catering Supplier market for a solution to potentially replace our current solution. The results of this Market Scan may see Massey go to Market with an Open Tender for these services.
Student and retail catering at Massey University is a key strategic service, central to the recruitment and retention of students and staff, whilst contributing to a positive experience for visitors to campus. The Residential Halls, Apartments, Studios and Flats are critical to supporting the University’s goals for student growth and academic success. Catering is an essential component of the accommodation ‘package’ for those students requiring meal plans and the retail option contributes to a positive experience for all students, staff and visitors. Massey has used our current Commercial Catering Supplier for the last 8 years. We feel there is a necessity to check the market to confirm we have the best solution to meet our current and future Student and Massey University’s Campus needs.
Currently we have one incumbent supplier who caters for our Auckland Campus and Manawatū Campus. They cover:
• Residential Students
• Retail – Non-Residential, Visitors and Staff Needs
• Events Catering
