Canterbury Regional Council (CRC), trading as Environment Canterbury, intends to release an Open Tender by the end of October 2025 seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced prime contractors for the purposes of delivering facilities maintenance services to our property portfolio. The existing contract for these services expires on 31 March 2026.
The anticipated contract term is 5+2+1 years to be managed by CRC’s in-house Asset Services Team in an open, proactive, transparent and collaborative relationship with our chosen provider.
The Request for Proposal responses will be assessed for relevant delivery experience, demonstrated track record, business and cultural fit, technical capability, transition approach and price. CRC intends to shortlist up to three suppliers from the RFP process to present to the Evaluation Panel and senior management representatives.
