Advance Notice
The Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) Kāwai ki te Iwi or Service Delivery and Operations (SDO) Branch is one of the Department’s most public-facing groups, providing customers
with a wide variety of services, products, and advice. Kāwai ki te Iwi means “Links to the People”, which reflects the customer-centric approach the Department takes to provide effective
and efficient services.
The Service Delivery and Operations (SDO) function specialises in preventing, detecting, and sanctioning identity crime and other fraudulent activities associated with SDO services and
products.
The Department is looking to procure a commercial off the shelf (COTS) Case Management System for our Investigations Team in SDO that is configurable to suit the Departments’ requirements.
The solution is intended to uplift the team"s investigation capabilities through better case management, collaboration, staff empowerment, and quality management.
This Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of the upcoming opportunity to submit a response to our Request for Proposal (RFP).
Subject to internal approvals, the likely release of the RFP will be early to mid-May 2023. This opportunity will be advertised on GETS.
No information is being asked for at this time but in subscribing to this notice you will be automatically notified when the RFP is released.
As a guide the Investigations Team approximately has:
between 100-140 active cases
between 1-2 cases per week
an estimate of minimum of 15 users
