Description: For the study of friction-switchable surfaces at nanometer scales, ultrasmooth coatings of sub-nanometer roughness, nanocomposites and nanostructured materials, ultrashort pulse laser ablation micro-milling, and additively manufactured structures, the University of Groningen (hereinafter: the UG) requires an integrated high-resolution scanning electron microscope (SEM). It is important for the UG to be able to produce stunningly detailed images of nanostructures and perform a comprehensive analysis for different applications. After careful market research focusing on the requirements, the RUG has come to the conclusion that JEOL (Europe) BV is the single supplier that can deliver the required high-resolution SEM as described in this document.   If there are parties who can meet the requirements mentioned in this document as well, please respond to this market consultation before 23 March. If there are no reactions, the RUG will proceed with the purchase of the JSM-IT810SHL of JEOL without prior publication.
