TenneT is, na het voeren van een onderhandelingsprocedure zonder voorafgaande bekendmaking, voornemens een opdracht te gunnen aan RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, teneinde de beschikbaarheid van productie-eenheid Swentibold te garanderen ten behoeve van spanningshuishouding en het oplossen (danwel voorkomen) van transportbeperkingen in de Provincie Limburg. Onder de overeenkomst is de Swentibold productie-eenheid exclusief voor TenneT beschikbaar en in te zetten voor ca. 4.500 uren tussen 1 januari 2024 en 31 december 2025.

De geraamde waarde van de overeenkomst is inclusief de kosten voor activatie van de eenheid (kosten voor aardgas, CO2 emissierechten (EUA) en hulpstoffen).

Explanation:

Nu en in de nabije, voorzienbare toekomst ontbreekt concurrentie om technische redenen, een alternatief of substituut voor langdurige levering van vermogen is niet beschikbaar voor of tijdens de looptijd van de overeenkomst. Om deze reden is het absoluut noodzakelijk deze opdracht te gunnen om de betrokken diensten op die locatie te leveren, teneinde het transport van elektriciteit in de Provincie Limburg te kunnen blijven garanderen.
