         Zonneparkontwikkelaar IX Zon heeft na vier jaar ontwikkeling een ready to build zonnepark in Bunnik aangeboden op ruim twee kilometer afstand van het Utrecht Science Park. Dit zonnepark biedt zowel kansen voor Energie Coöperatie Bunnik (ECB), als voor de Universiteit Utrecht (UU). Door de handen ineen te slaan en gezamenlijk de realisatie en het onderhoud en beheer aan te besteden, willen ECB en de UU de doelmatigheid verhogen en schaalvoordelen creëren gedurende de gehele looptijd.

          Zonnepark 2

          Dit zonnepark is bestemd voor ECB. Dit zonnepark bestaat uit twee secties, namelijk sectie 2 en 3 die verdeeld zijn over de locatie aan de oostzijde en de locatie aan de westzijde. Hieronder wordt de omvang in een paar kengetallen weergegeven:

          - De westelijke locatie (sectie 1 en 2 tezamen) heeft een oppervlakte van 8,1 ha.

          - Sectie 2 (voor ECB) op de locatie aan de westzijde heeft een oppervlakte van circa 1,6 ha.

          - De oostelijke locatie (sectie 3) heeft een oppervlakte van 4,9 ha.

          - Circa 4,8 ha van de 6,5 ha van het beschikbare gebied van sectie 2 en 3 tezamen dient gebruikt te worden voor het opstellen van zonnepanelen.

          - Het geïnstalleerd vermogen aan zonnepanelen dient minimaal 7 MWp te zijn.
