Explanation:

De Gemeenschappelijke regeling Afvalverwijdering Utrecht (AVU) is een gemeenschappelijke regeling ingevolge de Wet gemeenschappelijke regelingen en is in 1984 opgericht door de Utrechtse gemeenten en de provincie Utrecht. De AVU werkt samen met en in opdracht van 25 Utrechtse gemeenten in de afvalketen en draagt zorg voor de overslag, het transport en de verwerking van het huishoudelijk afval van de deelnemende gemeenten.

In 2022 heeft de AVU een aanbesteding georganiseerd voor de inzameling en verwerking van textiel (TenderNed-kenmerk 364660). ReShare en Textiles2Textiles hebben de inschrijving met de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding ingediend en zijn aangewezen als concessiehouders. De gemeente Zeist is voornemens om per 1 januari 2024 gebruik te maken van de dienstverlening van de concessiehouders, conform art. 5.8 van de modelovereenkomst. De modelovereenkomst biedt als onderdeel van de openbare publicatie van de AVU (https://www.tenderned.nl/aankondigingen/overzicht/277980/details) de mogelijkheid dat gemeenten die aangesloten zijn bij de AVU gebruik kunnen maken van de dienstverlening van de concessiehouders.

Het gaat hierbij om ca. 230 ton textiel dat in de gemeente Zeist jaarlijks wordt ingezameld.

Er wordt een standstill-termijn van 20 kalenderdagen gehanteerd. Deze loopt t/m 27 september 2023. Indien er vragen of opmerkingen zijn over dit voornemen tot gunnen, dan vernemen wij dit graag via inkoop@zeist.nl.
