De Opdrachtnemer dient (niet uitputtend) door middel van het verrichten van Onderhoudswerkzaamheden:

1. het Functioneren en Presteren van het Areaal te handhaven aan de hand van de in de Overeenkomst opgenomen eisen;

2. het vereiste instandhoudingsniveau te handhaven aan de hand van de in de Overeenkomst opgenomen eisen.

Deze opdracht kent de volgende bijzonderheden:

1. Het areaal bestaat uit het Noordzeekanaal (NZK), het Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal (ARK), de Hoofdvaarweg Lemmer-Delfzijl (HLD) en de stuwgebonden objecten in de Maas;

2. De vaste vaarwegmarkering langs het NZK en ARK dient in stand te worden gehouden middels meerjarig onderhoud (mjo);

3. Het areaaldeel NZK dient naast het mjo grotendeels te worden verduurzaamd (vernieuwen en energiezuinig maken), dit betreft een voorgeschreven Activiteit;

4. Het areaaldeel ARK dient naast het mjo voor een deel Nautisch Uniform te worden gemaakt, dit betreft een Optionele Activiteit;

5. De areaaldelen HLD en stuwgebonden objecten in de Maas dienen in stand te worden gehouden middels meerjarig onderhoud, dit zijn benoemde Activiteiten.

De opdracht betreft het meerjarig instandhouden en verduurzamen van Vaste Vaarwegmarkering aan het Noordzeekanaal (NZK) en het Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal (ARK) in het beheersgebied van Rijkswaterstaat Verkeer- en Watermanagement (VWM).

De werkzaamheden van deze wijziging betreft de noodzakelijke aanpassingen aan de verlichtingen van de objecten VW-ARK-8063-A,VW-ARK-8064-A en VW-ARK-8065-A. De objecten worden van de stroomkabels afgehaald en worden verduurzaamd. Dit is nodig om de assets te laten blijven voldoen aan de normen die RWS stelt.
