         Het doel is om op aangewezen kruispunten de geïmplementeerde C-ITS app verkeerskundig te evalueren.

         Achtergrond: Het RWS programma Talking Traffic heeft in opdracht van IenW inmiddels 19 iVRI’s succesvol in het wegennet geïnstalleerd. Dit was de zogenaamde 1ste Tranche.

         De voorbereidingen voor de 2de Tranche zijn gaande. Gebleken is dat er nog verder onderzoek nodig is om de iVRI’s te optimaliseren en de usercases te verbeteren (zie hiertoe hoofdstuk 3).

         De resultaten uit de evaluaties dienen ter verbetering van de iVRIs.
