         De Opdracht bestaat uit het verwerken van A/B hout dat ingezameld wordt door de gemeente. De gemeente Amsterdam beschikt over zes afvalpunten en één scheidingsstation.

         Amsterdam wil het ingezamelde A/B hout op een zo hoogwaardig mogelijke manier verwerken. De Gemeente wil met deze aanbesteding de volgende doelstelling inzake duurzaamheid realiseren: Realiseren van hoogwaardige verwerking, waarmee bijgedragen wordt aan verhoging van circulariteit waarbij:

         Hergebruik;

         2. Recycling;

         3. Verbranding met energieterugwining in een bio-energiecentrale vologordelijk wordt nagestreefd.;

         4. Minimaliseren van (negatieve) milieueffecten die ontstaan tijdens het verwerkingsproces (bijv. het beperken van CO2-emissies).

         De Gemeente is voornemens de Overeenkomst voor de duur van twee jaar af te sluiten met de mogelijkheid om tweemaal met twee jaar te kunnen verlengen.

          Deelname aan de aanbesteding voor A+B hout kan voor kleine Metropool Regio Amsterdam (MRA) gemeenten -met een beperkte hoeveelheid A+B hout- interessant zijn. Deze Aanbesteding bevat hiertoe nadrukkelijk de optie (mogelijkheid) voor MRA-gemeenten.

          Als MRA-gemeenten toetreden laten deze gemeenten het door (of namens) hun ingezamelde A+B Hout verwerken door Opdrachtnemer. Bij toetreding door MRA-gemeenten tot de Opdracht zijn de volgende voorwaarden van toepassing:

           Het aantal toetredende MRA-gemeenten is beperkt tot één, zijnde gemeente Ouder-Amstel.

           De hoeveelheid A+B hout die gemeente Ouder-Amstel in kan brengen is (in totaliteit) begrensd op 7% van de geraamde contractwaarde van 7000 ton per jaar.

           Als Ouder-Amstel van deze mogelijkheid gebruik maakt zal er, binnen het eerste jaar, voor aanvang Overeenkomst tussen de Opdrachtnemer en Ouder-Amstel een aparte overeenkomst afgesloten worden, welke volledig overeenkomt met de Overeenkomst die Amsterdam o.b.v. de aanbesteding met Opdrachtnemer heeft afgesloten.
