De oorspronkelijke aanbesteding betreft de renovatie van twee bruggen: de Kooybrug in Den Helder en de Montfoortse Brug in Montfoort. Bij de aanbesteding is het gedachtegoed van Project DOEN het vertrekpunt. Deze wijziging betreft werkzaamheden/maatregelen t.a.v. constructieve veiligheid aan de kademuur Montfoort.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

Het betreft een noodzakelijke wijziging/aanvulling op de oorspronkelijk aangeboden maatregelen (constructieve veiligheidsissues). Zonder uitvoering van de extra werkzaamheden, zal uitvoering van de oorspronkelijke maatregelen slechts gedeeltelijk mogelijk zijn en kan dit tot onveilige situaties leiden. Uitvoering maakt onherroepelijk deel uit van deze opdracht en kan alleen afgesplitst worden met aanzienlijk ongemak en aanzienlijke kostenstijgingen leiden voor de aanbestedende dienst.
