Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

De noodzaak van de aanvulling: Het val van de zuidelijke Coenbrug (Koog aan de Zaan) is op 4 mei 2021 een flink stuk gevallen, met forse schade tot gevolg.

De bruggen zijn sinds het incident niet bedienbaar en het zuidelijk val is vanwege schade aan het reguliere mechanische aandrijfwerk separaat gefixeerd. Het eerste deel van de schade is inmiddels opgenomen. Om de schade aan het aandrijfwerk en constructie volledig te kunnen beoordelen, moet de mechanisch spanning die nu nog op het systeem staat, weggenomen worden. Opdracht betreft het mechanisch spanningsvrij maken van het bewegingswerk Coenbrug Zuid. Aanvulling stond niet in de oorspronkelijke aanbestedingsstukken, maar valt onder de scope van het prestatiecontract.
