Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

De doelstelling van het prestatiecontract is om het functioneren en presteren van het

Amsterdam – Rijnkanaal inclusief de daarbij horende bruggen en sluizen in het beheergebied

van Rijkswaterstaat Dienst MN-Zuid in stand te houden. Conform Lijst met aannames en

uitgangspunten is vastgesteld binnen de opdracht. Herstel lagers en afdichtingen

tandwielkasten vang IRS-2 en BDS-2.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

De werkzaamheden betreffen fysieke beveiliging ten behoeve van gemaal Ravenswaaij. Deze werkzaamheden zijn noodzakelijk geworden omdat het gemaal Ravenswaaij (Marijkesluis) momenteel grote risico"s op inbraak en vandalisme/schade loopt. Het object voldoet niet aan de weerstandklasse. Niet alleen het gebouw, maar ook de pompinstallaties zijn vanwege de huidige zeer beperkte fysieke afscherming van het gebouw erg kwetsbaar. Dit levert een direct gevaar op voor de waterveiligheid (waterkwantiteit op het Betuwepand) vanwege de spuifunctie van het object. Op diverse locaties op en rondom de Pr. Marijkesluis moeten in dit kader hekwerken en poorten worden aangebracht. De waarde van de aanvullende opdracht is <50% van de oorspronkelijke opdrachtwaarde.
