         De aanleiding van deze aanbesteding is dat de NVWA op zoek is naar een bureau (Opdrachtnemer) dat kan faciliteren bij de relocatie van Medewerkers (EU-dierenartsen) die in Nederland komen wonen en werken voor de NVWA. Binnen de NVWA werken dierenartsen die onder andere toezicht houden bij veetransport, in- en export van dierlijke goederen en in slachthuizen. Gezien het grote tekort aan dierenartsen op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt trekt de NVWA ook buitenlandse (EU) dierenartsen aan.

         De komende 4 jaar is het voornemen dat de NVWA elk jaar twee groepen van circa 12 dierenartsen uit de Europese Unie (EU) aantrekt. Na een periode van tijdelijke huisvesting (in Wageningen) tijdens een taaltraining, dient er structurele huisvesting gevonden te worden in het teamgebied waar de dierenarts geplaatst wordt.
