         De gemeente Maastricht gebruikt op dit moment het softwareprogramma ‘Kwaliteitscentrale’ voor het uitvoeren van analyses van het technisch en verkeerskundig presteren van de verkeersregelinstallaties (VRI’s). De huidige opdrachtnemer heeft in het kader van “Life Cycle Management” van deze Kwaliteitscentrale aangekondigd dat vanaf een bepaald moment geen onderhoud meer uitgevoerd gaat worden aan deze applicatie.

         Omdat de gemeente Maastricht er veel belang aan hecht dat de te gebruiken systemen actueel zijn, blijven en onderhouden worden, is deze afkondiging aanleiding om een alternatief te zoeken voor de Kwaliteitscentrale.

         Het doel van de Opdrachtgever is het afsluiten van één (1) Overeenkomst met één (1) ondernemer (Opdrachtnemer) voor de duur van zes (6) jaar voor het leveren van deze Analysetool VRI data conform de meest recente wet- en regelgeving van de Nederlandse overheid, in combinatie met de overeenkomst tussen Opdrachtgever en Opdrachtnemer.
