         The operational base for the project will be Maputo, Mozambique, with fields activities for data collection in

         Manica, Sofala and Tete Provinces.

      4. Description of the procurement:
         

         The procurement involves the provision of consultancy services for the development of a feasibility study and

         conceptual design of a Agribusiness Centre (CAAM) in Chimoio, Manica province, Mozambique. The study

         will include an in-depth analysis of the value chains of fruits and horticultural products, economic and financial

         analysis of the proposed center as well as the the dimensioning and architectural sketches of the CAAM.

         The contractor must have extensive experience in conducting feasibility studies, particularly in the agribusiness

         and agro-industry sector, and possess expertise in value chain analysis, stakeholder analysis and economic

         and financial analysis. The contractor must be able to produce three different, interconnected reports related

         to the activities as described in the Scope of Work, namely the value chain report, the business report, and the

         architectural report. The contractor must be able to present and discuss the reports with the Italian Agency for

         Cooperation and Development (AICS) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Mozambique

         (MADER), and other relevant stakeholders. The final report must incorporate any comments received from the

         stakeholders during the presentation of the final draft report. The consultancy firm will have a total of 6 months

         to complete the study and conceptual design.
