SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PVC AND GALVANIZED MATERIALS
Reference number: EIB-GtP/ENR/SRWB/EIB/PVC/GI/2023/01The procurement involves the Supply and Delivery of PVC Pipes under Lot 1; Galvanized Pipes under Lot 2; and Sluice Valves and Short Collars under Lot 3. Quantities are various under each Lot.
Supply and delivery of PVC and Fittings
Lot No: 1MALAWI, EASTERN REGION, SOUTHERN REGION WATER BOARD HEAD OFFICE , ZOMBA
The procurement involves the Supply and Delivery of PVC Pipes under Lot 1; Galvanized Pipes under Lot 2; and Sluice Valves and Short Collars under Lot 3. Quantities are various under each Lot.
The procurement is solely financed by the European Investment Bank.
In terms of Eligibility, a Bidder may be a natural person, private entity, government-owned entity or any combination of them with a formal intent to enter into an agreement or under an existing agreement in the form of a joint venture, consortium, or association. In the case of a joint venture, consortium, or association all parties shall be jointly and severally liable. This Invitation for Bids is open to all suppliers from eligible source countries as defined in Section 5, Eligible Countries in the Bidding Document. A firm that is under a declaration of suspension by the EIB or the Malawi Office of the Director of Public Procurement shall be ineligible. Bidders shall provide such evidence of their eligibility satisfactory to the Procuring Entity, to verify that the bidder:
(i) has the legal capacity to enter into a contract;
(ii) is not insolvent, in receivership, bankrupt or being wound up, not have had their business activities suspended and not be the subject of legal proceedings for any of the foregoing; and
(iii) has fulfilled their obligations to pay taxes.
a) Bid security shall be Euro 20,580.20 for Lot 1 or in freely convertible currency.
Bid security shall be a Bank certified cheque, a Bank Guarantee from a reputable Bank verified by the originating Bank
Bid security validity period shall extend 28 days beyond the Bid validity period.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office at the address in below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $20 or equivalent in a convertible currency. On request, against a faxed copy of the evidence of the
remittance, the Bid Documents may be sent by courier service if the transport is
previously ordered by the Bidder in his country. The Employer bears no responsibility
for the delivery in such a case.
Contract Award to bidders shall be per Lot to the lowest evaluated bidder. Bidders have the chances to be awarded all lots as long as they proven to be the lowest evaluated bidder for particular Lot.
All tenders must be delivered in sealed envelopes marked “ Supply and Delivery of PVC and Galvanize Materials” not later than 19 July, 2023 at 14:00 hours Central African Time at the following address:
