Solar Training Content Licensing

Description: The division of InnoEnergy that this Scope of Work is for is the InnoEnergy Skills Institute. As part of its mandate to establish the European Solar Academy, the Skills Institute seeks to license high-quality, modular training content and instructor-led training delivery kits in the solar PV value chain. This includes content that is already available or will be available before 31 March, 2026. For content that is not yet available, this would only be considered for established training providers that have an existing and established training offering. The Skills Institute develops and scales education and training across Europe to meet net-zero industry targets, and the European Solar Academy is its dedicated initiative to prepare the solar workforce at scale. We are creating learning journeys for key job roles across the solar value chain. Through this RFP, we invite suppliers to license content that can be integrated into these learning journeys. More details of the licensing framework are provided under ‘general objectives’. This call is focused on: • Content suited to the following job roles in the Deployment part of the value chain: a. Deployment Engineer b. Utility Scale Installer - Structural c. Utility Scale Installer – Electrical d. Project Development Specialist e. Testing & Commissioning Specialist. • Content suited to the following job roles in the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) part of the value chain: a. Operations & Maintenance Engineer b. Operations & Maintenance Technician. Suppliers may submit for one or both focus areas. More than one supplier may be selected. Note that content that is not related to the parts of the value chain and the job roles listed above will not be considered.
