The Sligo City Centre public realm enhancement project involves the upgrading of the following streets: Stephen Street/Rockwood Parade/Holborn Street/Tobergal Lane/Water Lane.
Sligo County Council is seeking the full range of complimentary consultancy design team services to develop the project from preliminary design, to securing all necessary statutory
consents, detailed design, to complete tender and construction documentation, tender evaluations, inspection of construction works and issue statutory certification on completion.

• A change of contractor at this stage to carry out these additional services would not make economic sense (would cost more) nor would it be in the interests of the success and
cohesiveness of the project;
• A change in contractor at this stage would cause significant inconvenience and substantial duplication of costs for SCC;
• The value of this increase in contract represents significantly less than 50% of the original contract price.
