• The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the CARS-4 project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement, supply and installation of equipment for BCP’s:

Lot 1- Procurement of ICT and Network equipment;

Lot 2 – Procurement of Generators:

• The Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement, supply and installation of equipment for BCP’s: Lot 1- Procurement of ICT and Network equipment; Lot 2 – Procurement of Generators.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised September 2023, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from address indicated in Item 5 and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 09:00 to 17:00 Dushanbe time.

5. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the

submission of a written application to the address below:

The document will be sent by e-mail in PDF format to all interested bidders.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 02.09.2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “Original Bid” (with indication of Lot 1 or Lot 2 or both), and the inner envelopes marked “Technical Part” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below. All envelopes marked “Second Envelope: Financial Part” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Purchaser until the second public opening.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of: Lot 1-$25,000.00 or any other freely

convertible currency; Lot 2-$15,000.00 or any other freely convertible currency.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
