• The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Digital Malawi Acceleration Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for provision of car hiring services under Framework Agreement.

• The Public Private Partnership Commission now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the provision of car hiring services under Framework Agreement as follows:

• Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act of 2017 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit of the Public Private Partnership Commission and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:00 to 16:00 hours at the address given below at 8(a)

• The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Malawi Kwacha Ten Thousand (MWK10,000.00) or any freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or Bank Certified check. The document is also available and can be downloaded from the following Websites: https://www.pppc.mw/procurement/adverts and https://www.ppda.mw/procurement-notices/

• Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(b) on or before 2:00pm local time on Wednesday, 8th January 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 8(c) on Wednesday, 8th January 2025 from 2:00pm local time.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration using the form provided in the bidding document.
