• The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (GoSVG) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project – 3.0 Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under a contract for the purchase of purchase seeds and planting materials (fruit and vegetable seeds, citrus scion and rootstock etc. and seed bags), in support of the SVG Food Insecurity Project.
• The Economic Planning Division within the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology now invites sealed quotations from eligible Suppliers for supply of seeds and planting materials under the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project – 3.0 Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC). Quotations shall be submitted as a single lot.
• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fourth Edition November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Suppliers as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Suppliers may obtain further information from the Economic Planning Division of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology using the email addresses as stated below.
• The quotation document in English may be requested by interested eligible Suppliers upon the submission of a written application (by email or hand written) to the address below. The document will be sent by email.
• Quotations must be delivered to the address below on or before April 2, 2024, 9:00 a.m. (Local Time). Electronic submissions will be permitted. Late quotations will be rejected. Quotations will not be publicly opened.
