Project Category: Construction of Buyo Kachama Primary Farmers" Cooperative warehouse

Seka Chokorsa Woreda Finance Office has obtained a budget from the World Bank (IDA) Food System Resilience Program (FSRP) for the construction of the Buyo Kachama Primary Farmers" Cooperative warehouse at Seka Chokorsa Woreda Jima Zone.

Now the Woreda invites all eligible and qualified Contractors of Category of Building Construction/General Construction Works Contractors (BC/GC-6) and above who have licensed from the Ministry of Construction or Oromia Construction Authority) and who are financially and technically capable of furnishing the necessary labor, material, and equipment cost of construction and request for the procurement of construction works, as described in the table below.

• The firms/bidder is invited to submit their wax (glue) sealed financial and technical proposal documents as clarified in the bidding documents for the execution of the contract.
• Bid Documents prepared in English and a complete set of bidding documents prepared in the English language can be obtained from Seka Chokorsa Woreda Revenue Authority Office during office hours (Monday to Friday) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Birr Five hundred) only for each project starting from February 21, 2024 G.C up to March 20, 2024 G.C
• The deadline for bid submission shall be at 4:00 local time on March 21, 2024, G.C., and the bid must be delivered to the Seka Chokorsa Woreda Finance Office in a hard copy. Late bids will be rejected.
• Bids will be publically opened at the same date deadline of bid submission date at 4:30 local time on March 21, 2024 G.C in the presence of the bidders or their legally designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the Woreda Finance Office
• Bid shall be valid for 90 days after bid closing and must be accompanied by a bid security of birr 200,000 (Two hundred thousand ETB) in the form of cash payment order(CPO) or Unconditional Bank guarantee only.
• Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in the bidding documents for more/detailed references and clarities
• Site visit is mandatory
• Seka Chokorsa Woreda Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject at any time all or parts of these bids.
