Request for Expression of Interest

(Consulting Services - Company Selection)

Project: Second Regional Economic Development Project (RED-2).

Assignment: Selection of a company for Consulting Services for the detailed design packages and author supervision of the water supply system facilities in Batken and Kadamzhai cities .

The Kyrgyz Republic, represented by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, received a funding from the World Bank for the implementation of the Regional Economic Development Project and intends to use a part of the funds for consulting services.

The Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS) is the implementing agency of the project. Hereby the Agency invites eligible consulting companies (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the mentioned type of service. Interested Consultants must provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualification and relevant experience to provide the required services.

The Terms of Reference for this assignment will be available for download after registration on the ARIS website and submission of an application for participation.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 5 years of general experience in water supply and sanitation system design;
• At least 2 completed projects for the preparation of DEDs for water supply and sanitation system;
• At least 2 completed projects for author supervision.

Consultants may cooperate with other companies in the form of a joint venture or sub-contract to improve their qualification. All members of the joint venture shall be jointly and necessarily responsible for this assignment. However, the experience of the sub-contractor will not be taken into account when the company is included in the final list of candidates.

The consultant will be selected under the CQS method - Selection by Qualification.
