      4. Description of the procurement:
         

         Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct of Length 4.519 Kms from CH: (-)1079.899m to CH: (-)5599.298m between PCMC and NIGDI (Bhakti Shakti) on the North-South Corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project- Reach1 – Extension. Completion Period of 130 Weeks from the date of issue of LOA.

         The pre-bid meeting shall be conducted at the office of ED/Procurement, Maha-Metro.Bidder’s queries must be submitted through e-mail ID: tenders.pmrp@mahametro.org with subject as “Pre-Bid queries for Phase-1 Extension Viaduct works” OR in hard copy to ED (Procurement) office before the stipulated date & time of Pre-Bid meeting. (The pre-bid meeting may be arranged through Video Conference, in that case a link to join the meeting shall be published on eTender Portal of Maha-Metro)

         Bidders are required to submit Bid Security amounting to INR 1.74 Crore in the form of Bank Guarantee; however, bidders registered as MSEs (Micro or Small Enterprise) are exempted from submission of the Bid Security, instead, they shall submit the form of Bid Securing Declaration as per the format given in the Tender along with the Bid.

         The Bidding process is Single stage two-packet system through e-tender portal of MAHA-METRO. Tenders are open to nationals of all countries, who fulfil the criteria stipulated in Evaluation and Qualification Criteria (EQC). A firm, who has paid tender fee amounting to INR 1,18,000/- (inclusive of 18% GST) non-refundable (inclusive of applicable taxes) through e-payment by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking, as per procedure given in the e-tender portal, can submit the tender either as an individual firm or in JV/ Consortium.

         The Contract will be awarded to the preferred Bidder whose Tender has been determined to be substantially responsive and compliant to the requirements contained in the Tender Documents and who has offered the Lowest Evaluated Price as per ITB 36.1, subject to the quoted amount is considered to be acceptable.
