Description: The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) intends to procure by competitive process certain services provided for the “Targeted Advisory Service on Animal Health” funded by National Exchequer. The Measure proposes two key elements: Training of Advisors to deliver animal health and biosecurity advice to farmers The specialist training of professional advisors (veterinarians) to deliver an On-Farm advice on animal health and biosecurity Advisory service; and, On farm Advice scheme on specific animal health and biosecurity subjects The delivery of professional specialist advice in animal health and biosecurity subjects to farmers at individual farm level by trained professional advisors (veterinarians).
