Provision of Wood Chip Processing Facility and Logistics Services for the Coillte Group

Description: Coillte is seeking proposals from qualified companies for the provision of a Wood Chip Processing Facility and Logistics Services for a new large scale industrial heat client based in Kinsale, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be required to process and deliver up to 30,000 tonnes of wood chip per annum to the contract specification and at 40per cent moisture content to the client’s facility using walking floor trailers. The depot must be capable of storing a minimum of 40,000 cubic metres m3 of pulpwood stacked in bays with adequate space for access and egress of machinery and haulage vehicles. The site must be suitable to promote natural air drying. Please note, the contract is for a four (4) year period with deliveries of biomass scheduled to commence in quarter four Q4 2026 up to and including quarter four Q4 2030.
