Call for Tenders for the provision of catering services to Limerick Education Support Centre

Description: Limerick Education Support Centre is seeking competitive proposals from suitably qualified businesses to supply and serve a range of hot and cold food to Limerick Education Support Centre commencing on December 1st 2025. Hot and cold food either to be prepared and served onsite at Limerick Education Support Centre or prepared offsite, delivered and served at a time specified by LESC. The nature of the business in Limerick Education Support Centre is dynamic and fluid. This has an impact upon the level of catering required on a day-to-day basis. There are occasions and time-periods throughout the year when the requirement for catering services is very high and other periods where this is low or zero. The high demand coincides mainly with days that schools are operational. Examples of low or zero time-periods include, but are not limited to; school holidays, public holidays and other ‘quiet periods’ in the run-in to school holidays. This fluidity and movement in demand for catering services is an integral part of the tender. It is important to note that Limerick Education Support Centre will not pay for such periods of diminished, low activity or in-activity and no compensation for such inactivity is available. The successful tenderer will receive as much notice as is reasonably possible prior to such periods of diminished, low or in-activity. Occasionally the Centre may require catering services on an evening or on a Saturday. Please see attached Tender document for full details.
