         Für die Bezirksregierung Köln wird eine umfangreiche Ausstattung der Mitarbeiter mit telearbeitsfähigen Laptops angestrebt. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Aufgabenbereiche ist es notwendig, Laptops mit speziellen, vom Standard abweichenden Ausstattungsmerkmalen zu beschaffen. Es werden 180 Geräte benötigt.

         Grundlage soll ein performanter, mit ausreichend Speicher und einer SSD ausgestatteter Laptop sein, was für rechenleistungsintensive Software-Produkte hinreichend konstituiert ist. Hauptsächlich sollen diese Geräte in den Bereichen Geodatenbearbeitung und Administration eingesetzt werden. Innerhalb der Gruppe der Anwender/ Nutzer gibt es jedoch auch noch unterschiedliche Anforderungen hinsichtlich bestimmter Ausstattungsmerkmale.

         Deshalb sollen die ausgeschriebenen Laptops in einzelnen Ausstattungsmerkmalen konfigurierbar sein, ohne jedoch sich im Grundkern (Mainboard, Chips) zu unterscheiden, um mit einer einheitlichen Treiber-Basis bei einer Installation arbeiten zu können.

         Die Laptops müssen mit einer passenden Docking-Station auch den MAC Pass-Through Betrieb zulassen.
