Description: The project Promotion of Economic Reforms and Investments in Côte d"Ivoire (ProREI), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI), supports the structural transformation of the Ivorian economy. Building on Côte d"Ivoire"s strong economic performance in recent years, the project seeks to create a more inclusive and sustainable growth model by strengthening the business environment, facilitating access to finance, and fostering innovation and private sector investment. ProREI is structured around three pillars: (i). Strengthening the capacities of public actors to implement reforms, (ii). Improving public-private dialogue and access to services and finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), (iii) Creating enabling spaces for green, social and digital innovation. Within the framework of the third pillar, the project promotes innovation as a driver of competitiveness, productivity, and sustainable job creation.
