         Die Stadtverwaltung Andernach sucht eine DMS-Lösung, die es ermöglicht, Unterlagen in elektronischer Form zu speichern und gesetzeskonform aufzubewahren sowie die Verwaltung in der Bearbeitung von Verwaltungsprozessen zu unterstützen. Daher plant sie die Einführung der elektr. Vorgangsbearbeitung und Aktenführung. Kernstück ist die Implementierung einer DMS-/Archivlösung, die nach Testphase und den hier beschriebenen ersten Umsetzungsprojekten schrittweise in der gesamten Verwaltung ausgerollt werden soll. Diese DMS-Gesamtlösung mit allen ihren Komponenten muss so offen gestaltet sein, dass alle Dokumentarten und –quellen bedient, d. h. im System abgelegt und über das System recherchiert werden können, unabhängig von Format und Medium des ursprünglichen Dokuments. Auch muss sich die DMS-Lösung vorzugsweise über offene Schnittstellen kurz- und mittelfristig in vorhandene Fachverfahren integrieren lassen, sofern keine standardisierten Schnittstellen zu den jeweiligen Fachverfahren innerhalb der angebotenen Lösung bereitstehen.

         Zielsetzung ist vornehmlich die Einführung der elektronischen Aktenverwaltung und, daraus resultierend, die Optimierung der Geschäftsprozesse innerhalb der gesamten Stadtverwaltung.

         Zudem sollen Verwaltungsabläufe schlanker gestaltet werden (Prozessoptimierung), um Auskünfte schneller und einfacher geben zu können.

         Die Einführung der neuen DMS-Lösung erfolgt in Teilschritten in einzelnen Bereichen der Stadtverwaltung Andernach.
